Cyril Huvée is a master French pianist who was called "the best heir" by Claudio Arrau, one of the greatest masters of the 20th century, and was also trained by the 20th century Hungarian virtuoso Georges Cyfra. In February 2020, when the new coronavirus was in full swing and spreading worldwide, Cyril Huve, a renowned specialist in period pianos (historical pianos) in France today, came to the Netherlands to celebrate the Beethoven Year in spite of the chaos of the new coronavirus. She went to Studio Edwin Beunk and recorded a collection of Beethoven's piano sonatas (only the "Tempest" was recorded in November 2019), playing the rare original fortepiano! Three fortepianos by Matthias Müller, Johannes Schantz, and Konrad Graf, which are said to have been made during Beethoven's lifetime. Cyril Huwe blends the sound of these famous instruments, which have matured over the course of nearly 200 years, with Beethoven's music.This is a collection of Beethoven's sonatas that will allow you to feel the tone and the breath of Beethoven's imagination, and is a must-have for the Beethoven Year!
