This second release from Signum Classics features the six members of this elite group, who are also members of the Tallis Scholars, The Sixteen, Polyphony, and other famous ensembles from the choral kingdom of Great Britain. The second release from Signum Classics features six of the finest composers from the mid-16th century to the New World (Americas). Works by the great composers of the Spanish Golden Century, such as Victoria, Guerrero, Morales, and Alonso Lobo, as well as Hernando Franco (1532-1585), Juan Gutierrez de Padilla (c.1590-1664), Francisco Lopez Capillas (1614-1674), Miguel Mateo de Dário y Lana (c.1650-1705), and other composers who moved from Spain to Mexico, Guatemala, and other new continents, or were born and raised in the new continents of Spanish parents.
