This reissue is available in digital and yellow vinyl formats, remastered by Kevin Vanbergen (who has also worked with Bauhaus and LUSH), with newly designed artwork, extensive liner notes, and a QR code to access exclusive bonus links. Seminal Live" is The Fall's first live/semi-live album, released on Beggars Banquet in June 1989. Among them, "Dead Beat Descendant" and the Ronnie Irving cover "Pinball Machine" are now recognized as The Fall's classics.Pinball Machine" is a classic track in The Fall's long lineage of country covers. The B-side, which features live material, is not taken from a single show, but rather a collage of material selected from multiple gigs in Vienna and Manchester in 1988. The foundation of their one-of-a-kind sound is an almost chaotic, chaotic mass of dissonant, melody-less guitars, spoken vocals, and keyboards, and their sound has had a profound influence on the indie/alternative scene.
