They started their history in 1965.This year marks the Grateful Dead's 60th anniversary, and to commemorate the occasion, Dead.net will release "ENJOYING THE RIDE," a stunning box set containing 60 discs of rare and previously unreleased live recordings of the band at 20 legendary venues. The box set contains 450 songs and over 60 hours of their live performances, making it a new treasure for Deadheads everywhere. Deadheads everywhere will have another treasure from the band. The 60-CD box set, which will be sold exclusively through the band's official store (Dead.net), will be accompanied by the release of the "THAT'S THE BOX SET", a general release compilation of 27 rare live performances on 3 CDs and 6 analog discs, carefully selected to highlight each venue and each show. The boxed set will also be released as "THE MUSIC NEVER STOPPED," a compilation of 27 rare live performances on 3 CDs and 6 analog vinyl discs. This is a collection of their legendary live performances from 1969 to 1994, spanning 25 years.The film spotlights the iconic stages at 20 historic and legendary venues that have consistently taken the band to new heights, including Winterland in San Francisco, Frost Amphitheater in Palo Alto, Madison Square Garden in New York City, Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, and Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, among many others. This thrilling film spotlights the iconic stages at 20 historic and legendary venues that have always brought the band to new heights, including the Fillmore West's intimate Fillmore West concert halls, the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, and the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison. Whether performing in the intimate confines of the Fillmore West or under the blue skies of Red Rocks, they never played the same show one night, but always played something new. This film is a perfect testament to the Grateful Dead's quintessential live performance appeal and their relentlessly adventurous spirit.
