"King Of Pops" or better, the new generation of jazzy pop divas, Nikki's new album for 2014. This is the second studio album by the 19-year-old singer, who is now one of Canada's leading artists. The album was produced by Quincy Jones. Rod Temperton, who wrote Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and "Rock With You," was also on the production team. The two producers of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" teamed up for the first time in many years for this release. The single "Something New" was co-written by Quincy and Nicky, and the second half of the song samples Quincy's signature song "Soul Bossa Nova" extensively. In the first half of the song, Quincy also samples "Watermelon Man" for Nicky, after negotiating with Herbie Hancock.
