French composer, singer and songwriter Alex Beaupin, well known for his work on the soundtracks of Christophe Honoré's films such as "Love On The Beat", has released a new album featuring a cover of Gainsbourg's masterpiece "Love On The beat"! Produced by Saint DX, one of the hottest French acts of the next generation after FKJ, all the songs are bursting with a pleasant mellow groove! Alex Beaupin is one of the most important artists in the current French music scene since the 2000s, along with Vincent Delerme and Banjaman Viollet. He is also well known for his work on the soundtracks of Christophe Honoré's films such as "In Paris," "Songs of Love, Paris," and "Footsteps of Love. His latest album in 2021, following "Pas Plus Le Jour Que La Nuit" (2019), is a cover of Gainsbourg's masterpiece "Love On The beat" in its entirety! Alex performed "Love On The beat" in concert with the orchestra of Radio France for the 30th anniversary of Gainsbourg's death, which triggered him to realize the cover album of Gainsbourg's masterpiece, which he had dreamed of since his boyhood.The album is produced by Saint DX, a French next-generation producer whose work has been eagerly awaited for quite some time. The result is a very unique worldview. This is a release from Bico's Music, a Parisian label that includes Saint DX and Charlotte Gainsbourg, who are well-known for their work with Metronomy, Justice, and London Glamour.
