The second installment in the HYbr:ID series explores the diverse compositional techniques of German sound artist Alva Noto, a leading figure in contemporary electronic music. The second installment in the HYbr:ID series includes a contemporary dance piece "Shooting into the Corner" (2008-09), choreographed by Richard Segal and performed by the Pina Bausch Wuppertal Butoh Company in 2021 with a cannon piece by contemporary artist Anish Kapoor. This work includes music composed by Alva Noto for the contemporary dance piece "Ectopia," choreographed by Richard Segal and performed in conjunction with "Shooting into the Corner" (2008-09), a work that used the cannon of artist Anish Kapoor, and builds on the immersive fusion of dub and electronica of the previous Vol. 1, inspired by resonance and elasticity, concepts based on Minkowsky's four-dimensional space-time theory. and invites the listener into a digital production that explores infinite worlds.A spectacular sound design that evokes celestial bodies orbiting in perfect cosmic harmony, with elegantly floating precise rhythmic patterns and cascading metallic percussion arranged with artistic finesse against a backdrop of endless dub textures and mysterious, austere tones. . The CD is packaged in a special 18 cm (H) x 12.5 cm (W) paper jacket familiar to Alva Noto's other works. In addition, a graphic score based on the sound and acoustic symbols of each of the 10 songs is included.
