Capricorn Sun is a reflection of where she is today as an artist and producer, as well as the impact of global events, family upheavals, and personal struggles.The preceding single "Sister," a lively song filled with melody and emotion, and the lead single "Giving Up" feature Tesha's partner, Mafro, and were written at a time of heightened tension between the two. Anxious Mind," featuring vocalist Clemontine Douglas, is a personal highlight for Tesha herself and represents a deeper aspect of her production. Clemontine Douglas is also featured on "Dancing In The Shadows," which evolves from a gloomy beginning to a gradually euphoric end.
