To commemorate the 65th anniversary of his career as an entertainer, he has announced the release of a new orchestral album featuring all the hits of his career, performed with a full orchestra. CLIFF WITH STRINGS - MY KINDA LIFE" is his first album since his Christmas album "CHRISTMAS WITH CLIFF" which had an epic battle with Stormzy for the top spot on the charts last year. The album is the first since the Christmas album "CHRISTMAS WITH CLIFF", which had a fierce battle with Stormzy for the top spot on the charts last year.Its latest release, CLIFF WITH STRINGS - MY KINDA LIFE, features orchestral arrangements by Chris Walden. The album features their debut number one single, "Living Doll" (1959), and other number one hits such as "Summer Holiday," "The Young Ones," and "We Don't Talk Anymore," as well as "Wired for Sound," and "Carrie," "My Kinda Life," and "The Best of Me" (Cliff's 100th single), all beautifully orchestrated and string-arranged, giving new life and clarity to the original vocal recordings. Perhaps the most poignant aspect of the album is the inclusion of Cliff Richard's hit duet "Suddenly" from the 1980 film "Xanadu" with the late Olivia Newton-John, which was Cliff Richard's 75th birthday concert on October 14, 2015. This new arrangement, taken from one of their last concerts together, brings an emotional beauty to the harmony of their voices.In addition, this album includes "Peace In Our Time" from 1993, as well as an extremely rare recording of Cliff Richard performing "Everything I Do (I do it For You)" at the Millennium Countdown Concert in 1999, which until now could only be heard on DVD. This is one of the most rare and valuable recordings of the band. Including these recordings, this album is a perfect way to celebrate Kris Richard's anniversary year. (1/2)
