European-style melancholy electro-techno-pop brings that nostalgic era back to the present day! Alphaville, Germany's most famous electro-pop band known for their smash hit "Forever Young," is pleased to announce that they will be releasing a deluxe edition reissue of their original albums starting in 2019, featuring the band's later work! The band's fourth album, "PROSTITUTE", released in 1994, will also be released in a 2-CD deluxe edition featuring the original album with the latest remastered soundtrack and additional bonus content. Various artists from non-English speaking countries were active in this genre, and many great songs were created by incorporating the atmosphere and characteristics of each country.The group is Alphaville, an electro-pop act from Germany that has been covered by popular acts such as Beyonce, One Direction, Imagine Dragons, and Jay-Z, and has also been used in TV commercials here in Japan, and created the classic "Forever Young," which has captured the hearts of Western music fans with its melancholy melody. Following "FOREVER YOUNG" in 2019 and "AFTERNOONS IN UTOPIA" and "THE BREATHTAKING BLUE" in 2021, their two late albums will finally be released in a deluxe edition. This release will be a deluxe edition of their two later albums. This time, the deluxe editions of their 4th album "PROSTITUTE" released in 1994 and their 5th album "SALVATION" released in 1997 will be released. The new editions will again include the latest remastered versions of the original albums, as well as a number of bonus contents. As with previous deluxe editions, the album will be supervised by Marian Gold and Bernard Lloyd, two of the founding members of Alphaville.Released on August 26, 1994, PROSTITUTE was Alphaville's fourth studio album and last with Ricky Echollett. Featuring hit singles such as "The Impossible Dream" and "Fools," the album was recorded at Lunapark Studios in Berlin and produced by the band itself. It was also mixed at Therm West Studios in London with the help of assistant engineers Frank Rothman and Simone Regner. Guest musicians on the album include John Themis and Rudy Nielson on guitar, and former Nena guitarist Carlo Carges on "The Impossible Dream. (1/2)
