Description:
This is where both "Baahubali" and "RRR" began. We have unearthed a wealth of musical songs from the early days of Indian~South Asian cinema, some 90 years ago. The film industry in India and South Asia progressed at a dizzying pace after the first talkie film, "Alam Ara," was released in 1931. At that time, lip-synching was not yet common, and actors were required to have real singing ability, so actors who could sing and dance quickly rose to stardom, creating the basis for today's "Bollywood". This film contains a number of soundtracks of very early South Asian films that have drifted into the corners of Brooklyn and Queens. It was edited by Gary Sullivan, owner of the digger blog BODEGA POP, who is familiar with DEATH IS NOT THE END. The collection contains not only the energetic songs of today's Bollywood, but also many nostalgic ballads and other songs that make one feel nostalgia, but it is enough to show that songs have been an indispensable element of Indian and South Asian cinema since its early days. Both "Baahubali" and "RRR" have their origins in the Bollywood film industry.
