SAMSUN is a British rock/psych-pop/freakbeat band formed in 1969, and after several international tours, they caught the attention of Will Malone of Orange Bicycle, Jeff Gill of Smoke, and Cliff Wade of Fickle Pickle. Around 1972, they began recording an album at Will Malone's Morgan Studio. However, only three songs resulted in releases in the Netherlands and the UK. After 52 years, their album material finally saw the light of day. The dramatic pop-rock sound of "The Wind (Talking To The Pines)" and the bluesy and funky "Bringing It All Back Home" are impressive with their sibilant sound and sultry vocals. This is a rare record and also shows that Morgan Blue Town was involved in a wide range of bands other than those they released during this period.
