Guitar Music Inspired by Many Fields Alfredo Franco is a composer born in Turin, Northern Italy, in 1967. He started out as a guitarist and composer, but eventually stopped performing to concentrate on composition. Since then, he has been pursuing his own unique way of speaking, influenced by jazz, folk, and minimal music. He has published "Alphabetical Portraits" depicting Sibelius, Britten, Shostakovich, and Montpauw, "Memories of the Black Lodge - Homage to David Lynch," "Micro Suite," "Mechanical Minor Suite," "Impermanence - Charlie Watts' Tombow (Tomb)," and others. The performance will be given by the Sardinian composer, Giovanni Pagliacci, who is a native of Sardinia. The performance will be by Cristiano Porqueddu, a composer and guitarist from Sardinia. He is a specialist in contemporary guitar works and has produced the complete works of Barrios (6CD), Angelo Gilardino (14CD), 20th Century Guitar Sonatas (5CD), and Francocca Varone (4CD).
