Among the progressive rock movements of the 1970s, the emergence of the Dutch progressive rock band Focus in 1972 and their rise to prominence are particularly noteworthy. Influenced by classical music and jazz, the band's sound consisted mainly of instrumental numbers, but they dominated the charts in the U.K. and the U.S., selling as many records as the top British progressive rock bands. The archive of Focus at the peak of their career is now available on CD! Focus' first performance in the UK was on the BBC's live music program, "The Old Grey Whistle Test". The band's live performance on "The Old Grey Whistle Test" became the talk of the town, and the band quickly garnered a great deal of attention, which was linked to album sales. This album is a live album recorded at the time of the broadcast. This is a live album that you can experience their momentum right after the release of the albums "Moving Waves II" and "Focus III"! The live performance of Focus is more powerful and energetic than the official album. This is a work that shows once again how great Focus is as a live band.
