Return to Forever is the project of Chick Corea on piano and Stanley Clarke on bass. The band has undergone numerous member changes, suspensions, and resumptions, while releasing a variety of classic albums. This album contains archival recordings of the band on stage in Denver, Colorado in 1974. This album was recorded in Denver on August 9, 1974, during the recording of the classic album "Where Have I Known You Before" released in 1974. In addition to the above two members, Lenny White played drums and Al Di Meola, a 19-year-old prodigy at the time, played guitar. The band performed a number from "Beyond the Seventh Galaxy," "Vulcan Worlds," and of course, the solo performances of each of the four members.This is a must-listen for fans who can enjoy the spacy sound of Chick's early days with synthesizers and Di Meola's astonishing picking technique.
