Born on January 31, 1951 to an English father and a Colombian mother, he spent his childhood in South America, including Cuba and Venezuela, where his musical experiences greatly influenced his current musical style and style, In 1970, he formed his own band, Quiet Sun, with Canterbury artists, but was unable to secure a record deal. After auditioning, he joined Roxy Music and produced many hit albums with Bryan Ferry and Andy McKay. At the same time, he also performed live with Project Band 801, produced albums as Quiet Sun, and worked energetically as a solo artist. After the breakup of Roxy Music, he has been active not only as a guitarist but also as a composer and producer, and produced Pink Floyd's new album. The Sound Of Blue" is his first rock album in a long time, which is composed entirely of instrumental music.This time, the early masterpiece trilogy and "The Sound of Blue", his latest solo album at this point, are released as a hybrid SACD with additional bonus tracks! K-Scope" is the final album in the early masterpiece trilogy, produced with the participation of John Wetton in addition to such talented musicians as Godley & Creme (formerly of 10cc), Mel Collins, and Bill McCormick, as on the previous album. It includes the first number in which Phil Manzanera himself sings lead vocals, and is an ambitious work that gives a sense of new developments for the future. Remastered and released as a hybrid SACD with 4 additional bonus tracks.
