Steve Hackett is a contemporary progressive rock evangelist. No longer needing the title of ex-Genesis guitarist, Steve Hackett continues to create progressive rock with a high degree of originality and musicality. He has begun work on "At The Edge Of Light," which will surpass his masterpiece "The Night Siren," and will be released at the end of the 2018-19 world tour, along with his regular band. The project will be completed with the support of various top musicians from around the world, as well as regular band members. The concept of the album is an extension of the previous album, projecting Steve Hackett's thoughts on "the light and darkness of our time and the various cultures that are affected by it." The sound is more symphonic and dramatic, a masterpiece that conveys the artist's belief that this is the true progressive rock sound!
