Description:
The hard rock band Angel debuted in the 1970s wearing pure white costumes. Unlike their appearance, the band's sound, which incorporated the essence of progressive rock, was highly acclaimed. The band's core member, keyboard player Greg Jeffria, worked as a studio engineer after the band broke up, but when he was asked to produce a heavy metal band, he started working on the new Angel and renamed the band after himself. The band changed its name to Jeffria. With Craig Goldie, who would later join Dio, and Chuck Wright, who would join Quiet Riot, the band released its debut album, Giuffria, in 1984. The single 'Call To The Heart' was a hit and reached No. 15 on the U.S. album chart. The following year, in 1985, the band toured the U.S., followed by their first concert in Japan. The concert at Nakano Sun-plaza on June 26 was recorded for promotional and video productions, which were broadcast on Japanese TV stations and then on MTV in the US.This album is a live album based on the broadcast recording, and includes the complete concert, including instrumental solos and encores. Greg Jeffria, as well as the other band members, are all technicians, and their live performance and songs with melodic lines that are full of songfulness are outstanding. This album is a rare opportunity to experience this short-lived band live!
