Def Leppard is the standard-bearer of the "NWOBHM" movement that emerged in the early 1980s. Their albums "Pyromania" and "Hysteria" have sold more than 10 million copies in the U.S. alone, and it is said that they have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. In 1996, the band released "Slang," their first album in four years, which reached No. 14 on the U.S. album chart and earned a gold disc, but failed to sell more albums than ever... The band embarked on a massive 114-show world tour, starting with a concert in Bangkok, Thailand on May 28 of the same year. The highlight of the tour was a concert in the band's hometown of Sheffield, England, on November 14 of the same year. This concert was recorded for broadcast in Europe, mainly on the BBC. This album is a live album recorded at the time of the broadcast, and consists of songs selected by the band from the set list of the day.The audience's excitement was strong as it was a concert in their hometown, and the band responded to it with a powerful and friendly live performance.
