In the 1980s, he formed The Style Council, a band that skillfully incorporated the essence of R&B and gained new fans, and after the breakup of the group, he energetically pursued his career as a solo artist, remaining at the forefront of the British music scene. Now, rare archives of Paul Weller's various periods of activity are available! The Style Council was formed by Paul Weller after The Jam broke up. Their debut album, "Cafe Bleu," was released in 1984 and reached No. 2 on the UK Album Charts and received a gold disc, which was followed by a world tour including Japan.The New York show on May 11 was recorded and broadcast for the popular American music program "King Biscuit Flower Hour," and the May 5 show at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo was recorded and broadcast as a special TV program. This is a live album of the recordings from these two programs. The band made a spectacular debut and their album was a big hit, and the live performance here is a powerful one, backed up by such circumstances.
