Rare album by Ike Turner, voted #148 on Rolling Stone's "250 Greatest Guitarists of All Time," reissued on LP! Ike Turner is a guitarist, pianist, bandleader, producer, talent scout, and more. This LP reissue of a rare album (recorded in 1952-1954) by Ike Turner, who was recently ranked 148th on Rolling Stone magazine's "250 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" list, was released in 1963 on the Modern-affiliated Crown label and is a rare album that also offers a wealth of his guitar prowess. In addition to the three zumba rumba blues instrumentals "Cubano Jump," "Loosely," and "Cuban Get Away," which became the origin of the tremolo arm-intensive guitar instrumentals that would later become metamorphoses, the album also features the work of Ike Harris, who was active nationally throughout the southern region of the U.S., and was one of the best blues/blues guitarists of the 1950s, led by Ike Harris. Dennis Binder, who was a featured singer with the Kings of Rhythm, the most powerful blues/R&B troupe of the 50's led by Ike, sings lead vocals on "Rockin' Blues" and other tunes.The album includes Dennis Binder's singles and previously unreleased songs, and is presented as a crossbow blues/R&B album.
