The long-awaited debut album by Abase, a Jazz x Afrobeat x Hip-Hop project by Hungarian producer Szabolcs Bognar, who Giles Peterson has praised as "the producer to watch nowadays," will be released on CD with a bonus track in Japan! The release is now confirmed! Abase, which means "collaboration" in Yoruba, is a project started by Hungarian producer and multi-instrumentalist Szabolcs Bognar, who dreamed of fusing grooves from all over the world. The long-awaited debut full-length album is, as the name suggests, a collaboration with a wide variety of artists from around the world. Recorded in Rio de Janeiro and Salvador, Brazil, the album features participation from veterans such as Lechieres Reichi as well as up-and-coming musicians such as Luciani Don and Antonio Loureiro. The LP, which was sold in a limited edition of 600 copies from the first pressing, sold out immediately. It has also become difficult to obtain in Japan.This work, "Laroye," will be released on CD (paper jacket version) with a bonus track on the Japanese edition! Szabolcs Bognar, who is based in Berlin not only as a producer but also as a DJ, is a one-of-a-kind genius who is sure to make great strides in the future. His attitude, which transcends all genres and racial barriers and continues to create music in pursuit of pure groove, is sure to capture the hearts of listeners around the world.
