Following the release of his second recording with the Orchestre de Paris, this new album focuses on the "Ballets Russes". This album celebrates Klaus Makela's Carnegie Hall debut in March 2024. Klaus Makela was born in Finland in 1996 and began his cello studies at the age of 12 at the Sibelius Academy. He studied cello and conducting at the Sibelius Academy and became the principal guest conductor of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra at a young age.Since then, he has performed with the world's leading orchestras, including the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, all of which have been highly acclaimed and have been described as "the appearance of a genius conductor once in several decades". In 2027, he will assume the position of Chief Conductor of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under a 10-year contract. Universal Music
