Gabriel Yared, who won the Academy Award(R) for best composition for "The English Patient" (1997), composed the music for this film, following "Azul and Asmar" (2006). Nathalie Dessay, one of the best opera singers in the world today, provides the voice of opera singer Emma Calvet, whose voice adds to the beauty of the film. Winner of the 44th César Award (French Academy Award) for Best Animated Film, the film was the opening film of the 2018 Annecy International Animated Film Festival.Won the "Audience Award" at this year's Yokohama French Film Festival.
