In search of the blood of Iorph's longevity, the Mesate army, astride an ancient beast called Renato, invades the city.In the midst of despair and confusion, Leylia, the most beautiful woman in Iorph, is taken away by Mesate, and Krim, the boy whom Makia secretly loves, goes missing. Makia manages to escape, but she loses her friends and her place of refuge. With an empty heart, Makia wanders through the dark forest.
