Description:

Adam Fischer Returns to Haydn. Re-recordings of the late symphonies, Vol. 3! Adam Fischer, the only conductor who has recorded the complete symphonies of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, and Mahler, started this third collection of Haydn's late symphonies to celebrate his 25 years as the principal conductor of the Danish Chamber Orchestra. The playing has been further reshaped and tempo-boosted compared to his own previous complete works, and the dynamic transitions and accents are vivid and vivid. The details are also more elaborate, with improvisational embellishments added here and there. While referring to the experience and information gained from recent historical approaches, Fischer's individual performance is full of power and playfulness, using the various techniques of expression he has accumulated in his operas and orchestral performances, and also shows the depth of nostalgia that Haydn's works allow for the performer. This third collection includes three pieces from No. 99 to No. 101, including the two titled pieces. No. 99 was composed in Vienna or Eisenstadt in 1793, just before his return to London, and premiered in London on February 10 of the following year. It was the first symphony to include a clarinet in the orchestration.No. 100 is called "Military" because of the use of both cymbals and triangles, "Turkish-style" instruments popular at the time, and the trumpet used in the second movement, which resembles a military trumpet. Originally, this second movement was adapted from "Concerto No. 3 in G major for two lira organizatas," but the timpani and trumpet are added at the end for a grand climax. No. 101 has long been nicknamed "The Clock" because of the rhythmic ticking of the strings and bassoon in the second movement. The domestic edition comes with a commentary by music critic Hiroyuki Yagi. Naxos Japan
