One of the most recent works by leading contemporary Estonian composer Kulvitz (1969-), "You are Light and Morning" is an impressive choral work with a mysterious and beautiful melody, based on a poem by 20th century Italian writer Cesare Pavelle. It was hailed as "Kulwitz's greatest achievement" at its premiere in June 2019 by Liszt Joost, the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra. The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, which is performing, is a vocal ensemble founded by Tonu Kaluste in 1981. Its repertoire ranges from Gregorian chant to contemporary works. Paul Hillier served as artistic director and principal conductor from 2001 to 2008, and Kaspars Putninsh currently serves as artistic director. Naxos Japan
