The contents are surprisingly diverse, including Debussy's "The Martyrdom of St. Sebastian," "Mass at Tournai," a modern arrangement of a work compiled in the 14th century, Stravinsky's "The Flood," based on an episode from the Bible, and Messiaen's "Exotic Birds," with its colorful interplay of sounds. The works are all related to the spirit of "love" based on the teachings of Christianity.
