Macross F Galaxy Live Final 2025", the largest solo live concert in the history of the "Macross" series, was held at K-Arena Yokohama on July 26 (Sat) and 27 (Sun), 2025, and drew an audience of about 38,000 people over the two days. The long-awaited live Blu-ray of the concert is now on sale!
Seventeen years after its broadcast, the anime "Macross F (Frontier)" is still going strong. The Blu-ray release will be announced on the birthday of the "Fairy of the Galaxy" Sheryl Nome (November 23rd)! The release date is April 29th, the birthday of "Super Dimension Cinderella" Ranka Lee.
The complete performance on July 27, 2025, which is also the birthday of the main character, Alto Saotome, will be included, including encores!
And! Yoko Kanno will be the secret guest at the Chikyubuji performance, the first time they have performed together in 15 years!
The full-length disc also includes an audio commentary by May'n and Ai Nakajima.
The limited edition and special edition discs include a book with live photos and a bonus Blu-ray disc.
The special Blu-ray disc includes the daily songs from the first day of the K-Arena Yokohama performance on July 26th, as well as special making-of and interview footage!
The jacket illustration is newly drawn by "Macross F" character designer Risa Ebata!
The main DISC and the bonus DISC will have 5.1ch surround sound for the daily songs.
