Awich, expanding her horizons globally, has completed a worldwide album fully produced by RZA of the legendary hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan. Having met and hit it off several years ago, the two deepened their musical and spiritual connection by visiting each other's homes—Okinawa and the Wu Mansion—before embarking on this album's production. Symbolized by "Wax On Waxoff"—featuring A$AP Ferg and Lupe Fiasco over a beat sampling Kajimeiko's "Jeans Blues"—this fusion of Eastern aesthetics and New York hip-hop DNA showcases RZA, Joy Badass, Westside Gunn, and new-generation rappers 454 and MikKE. Awich's predominantly English-language rapping, created alongside rappers at the forefront of the scene, is brimming with extraordinary dynamism. Overcoming the challenges of changing the world, tracks like "Fear Us (feat. Joey Bada$$ & RZA)" embody a strong will to move forward into the future. "Ghost of the East" confronts the profound impact of war and genocide across generations, while "Noble Lies" poses philosophical questions in an era where truth has lost its power.
