SACOYANS, an alternative band from Fukuoka, is going to release its long-awaited 3rd album "SUN" after 3 years! Backwards and backwards light. The remnants of the sun found in the third album by this alternative band from Fukuoka. Three years after their last album "Gasoline Rainbow", SACOYANS' third album "SUN", which already showed signs of a new frontier in their live performances, will be released on November 13, 2024! The cover of this album was drawn by SACOYAN (Vo.Gt), and it lays out a more personal view of the world than past albums, embodying the scene toward the brilliant winter solstice as the members face the music as one. The band's ensemble folds in on itself further, guiding the listener through unforgettable days. ■Artist CommentTwo of the members have had children, and an announcement was made to the fans that they would be taking a break for a while. During the maternity leave, one of the members decided to move far away from home, and we feared that it would be difficult for the band to survive, so we decided to make one more album.After playing a few live shows, we realized that we could make a band even if we had a child or lived far away from home, and we eventually changed our goal to make a third full-length album. I had more things I wanted to do, and in order to obtain funds, I released a live album of one-shot recordings during the process of making the 2.5 album, but including that, I spent the last three years getting used to my new life and spending every day creating. The previous two albums consisted of songs that SACOYAN had written individually with a home recording band sound, and songs that the band members had interpreted in new ways. I hope this album will be an exciting and reassuring experience for someone around the world. Please come to one of our upcoming live shows.
