The Night Ranger is the pride of the American hard rock band, and the Japanese CD includes the bonus track "High Enough," a Damn Yankees classic. They had two guitar heroes, Jeff Watson and Brad Gills, and their technique, as well as the catchiness and beauty of their melodies, was overwhelming to other bands. Although there were periods of inactivity, the band has been active since the early 1980s, and has sold a total of 17 million albums. At their concert in Japan last October, they performed a powerful stage performance that symbolized the end of Corona. It is still fresh in the memory that the performance sent many fans into a frenzy. The Night Rangers are now releasing a new live video work. The film, titled "40 Years And a Night with the Contemporary Youth Orchestra," was recorded live at the Key Bank State Theater in Cleveland on November 9, 2010. As the title suggests, this was a special stage performance accompanied by a full orchestra.It is easy to imagine that songs like "Sister Christian" would work well with an orchestra, but even the rocking numbers like "(You Can Still) Rock in America" are far more brilliant than one would expect.
