Veteran American heavy metal band Fifth Angel releases their first new album in five years with a new singer! The band's debut album was released in 1986 on Shrapnel Records, which was famous for discovering fast-playing guitarists at the time. In 1989, the band released its second album, "Time Will Tell," its first major release. Although Fifth Angel was expected to be the next big breakout artist, they were unable to resist the drastic changes in the music scene with the rise of grunge and the stalling of heavy metal, and disbanded that same year. After a one-shot reunion in 2010, the band made a full-fledged comeback in 2005.Their third album in 29 years, "The Third Secret" (2006), released on the German major Nuclear Blast, delighted metal maniacs around the world. Now Fifth Angel is releasing their first new album in five years. The album, titled "When Angels Kill," is the band's first concept album. The vocalist has changed since the last album, and a new singer, Steven Carlson, has joined the band, but the essence of lyrical heavy metal has not changed at all. Drummer Ken Mary has been active in Flotsam and Jetsam since 2006, and newly added guitarist Steve Conley is also a member of Flotsam and Jetsam.
