Lancer is a Swedish power metal band. After releasing the EP "Purple Sky" in 2012, the band released their eponymous debut album in 2013. Their second album "Second Storm" (2003) brought them even more attention, and the band signed with the German giant NuClear Blast, Nuclear Blast.The band's third album, "Mastery," released on the Nuclear Blast label, also featured the authentic power metal of a Swedish band, and many of you may have seen them on tour in Japan with this album. Lancer has now signed a new contract with Fireflash Records and will release their fourth album. The album, titled "Tempest," features Jack L. Strom of Vandor as the new vocalist. The album features a new vocalist, Jack L. Strom of Vandor, and delivers power metal music on a much larger scale. Power metal" is a term that can be used to describe a variety of styles, but in the case of Lancer's music, it can be said that the band is in the traditional heavy metal lineage, similar to that of Hammerfall, a band from the same region.
