Recorded in 1968 at Universal Studios in Chicago, this album, co-produced by Willie Dixon and Chris Strackwitz, is a hidden gem of Chicago blues. Starting with Dixon's own "What in the World You Goin to Do," Littlejohn's powerful slide guitar and a thick horn section with two tenor saxophones convey a rough and raw blues appeal. While inheriting the style directly from Elmore James, Littlejohn also fully demonstrates his own individuality on songs such as "Slidin' Home," which he wrote himself.
