The remastered distribution of 800 cherries catalog in 2022 was a big hit in the U.S. and other countries. In particular, the third album "rromantico" has been gaining play at an astonishing rate and now has a total of over 10 million plays. For the past three years, the number of monthly listeners has consistently exceeded 200,000. At the end of 2024, it was entered into the "Most Listened to Songs in 2024" playlist by Tylar The Creator, a genius of the US hip-hop scene. 800 cherries has been discovered by international music fans over the past few years, with Brigitte Calls Me Baby of Chicago, who opened for Morrissey on his tour in Japan in February, saying in an interview that 800 cherries is her favorite Japanese music, 800 cherries is now being reevaluated by foreign audiences. This is their third album released in 1998. It has an exquisite mix of acoustic instruments and their unique warm electronic instruments, with a minimalistic floating feeling common to Stereolab and a melancholic organic electronic sound like Donna Regina's.
