A beautiful 4K restored Blu-ray release of the national treasure films of Tadanari Okamoto, one of Japan's "Gods of Animation"! Tadanari Okamoto, an indispensable legend and god in the history of Japanese animation, celebrated the 30th anniversary of his death. Okamoto's masterpieces, including "Okonjoruri" and "The Restaurant of Many Orders," which have won numerous awards at film festivals in Japan and abroad, have been restored in 4K in ultra high definition and rich colors, capturing all the information recorded in the original negative films. The 4K restored version will be released on May 8, 2021 (distributed by Child Film). The 4K restored version was produced by IMAGICA Entertainment Media Service, Inc. under the supervision of the staff and related personnel, including Minoru Tamura, a cameraman who shot many of Okamoto's films, from the original 35mm negatives, and is now on UHD BD and BD. The audio was digitized from the sound negatives or cine tapes of each film, restored and mastered by world-renowned sound engineer Seigen Ono, and recorded in uncompressed 96kHz/24-bit linear PCM audio.
