They have brought to the world numerous albums, including a masterful performance of Bruckner's complete symphonic works. This Schubert (1797-1828), recorded in 2001, offers a performance full of happiness that symbolizes their friendship: Schubert by the child prodigy Maazel, who once conducted the Munich Philharmonic in the Unfinished at the age of 8.
