The seventh installment of Yasushi Utsunomiya's "Utsunomia MIX" series! A live recording by 5 musicians who participated in the series. The first 4 sessions, which are different from the album, are astonishing in terms of both performance and sound! The long-awaited album version has been realized! In May 2023, the experimental music/acoustic project "Utsunomia MIX" was launched by acoustic geniuses Yasushi Utsunomiya + Gallery Nomart + .es (dot es). Starting with the simultaneous release of their debut trilogy in May of the same year, Utsunomia MIX has released five albums in six months and two more in the following year, 2024. This is the first live project to combine live performances, a link with contemporary art, and the unique recording, mixing, and mastering of the Utsunomia MIX series. It is a compilation of the sound space of the too-gorgeous live recordings featuring 4 musicians who participated in the 4th and 5th albums of the series - sara(.es), Nakatanitatsuya, Otomo Yoshihide, and Isohashi Shinichi, as well as a guest from the 1st album, Mikawa Toshiharu! The liner was written by Minoru Shimizu, an art critic/music critic, as well as the 6th in the same series, "Fujin/Raijin" sara(.es) & Ayako Kanda.
