T-SQUARE has been at the forefront of Japanese pop instrumental music for more than 40 years since its debut in 1978, and now it has been announced that Masayo Ando (g), the only member who has remained with the band since its formation, will leave T-SQUARE after the farewell tour in summer 2021. T-SQUARE will be leaving the band after the farewell tour in the summer of 2021. In response to this, this project was being promoted as a box set with songs selected by old and new members of T-SQUARE, but on April 26, former member Hirotaka Izumi (kb), who left such masterpieces as "OMENS OF LOVE" and "TAKARAJIMA", passed away suddenly. As a memorial to Hirotaka Izumi, a Blu-ray disc of the last stage of THE SQUARE Reunion with Izumi's participation (live performance at Blue Note Tokyo on April 4, 2021: the first commercial release) will be added to this release in an emergency!
