Who could have known that Ozawa, the former Self-Defense Forces member who vanished after being seen pimping in Thaniya Street in 'Bangkok Nights', had been hiding out in Japan and jamming with his crew? The track they chose is a re-titled cover of the '70s Luk Thung classic "Country Life is Nice" that broke through in 'Bangkok Nights' – now called "Return to the Countryside".The lyrics, masterfully translated into Japanese by director Aizawa of the Sora-zoku crew to capture the essence of Luk Thung's spirit, were recorded and mixed by Iwao Yamazaki (Babylon Band), also the sound engineer for 'Bangkok Nights'. This crew has created an absolutely insane Japanese Luk Thung! Unbelievable passionate singing by Ozawa (Director Tomita) + inserted lines from the film like Shin-chan's are guaranteed to make Kuuzoku fans swoon, but stillichimiya fans will love Young-G's opening scratch, plus the latter half's DEEP dub mix unfolding into trippy psychedelia makes for a truly spectacular track! The B-side features Kufuki, the unique synth quartet who also debuted in the UK, featuring charismatic shigin singer Rihū Otsu on vocals. They blend Japanese dialects into the song, add Japanese drums, and play it with a buzzing intensity for a twisted electro new folk version. This bizarre masterpiece is also highly recommended for world music fans!! !!!!!!!!!! *Note: Ozawa is played by Sora Zoku's Tomita. Just to be clear.
