The Italian composer and conductor Bruno Maderna died in 1973 at the age of 53. The sound quality is superb in WDR stereo. The sound quality is superb in stereo by WDR, and the absence of the bleak and cold expression often seen in contemporary composers and conductors is also a characteristic of Maderna. The "Sea" is also sung to its heart's content, and you can't help but surrender yourself to the music that is immersed in romance. Hindemith's chamber music is so rare that only the recording by Abbado comes to mind. This is an ambitious work by Hindemith, who emerged as a viola player and radical composer in his German period. The performance is a masterpiece, with lively melodies and a cynical viewpoint that shines through. The highlight of the program is Mahler. About 30 years ago, HUNT/ARKADIA of Italy released a large number of Maderna's Mahler, but I have to admit that I did not enjoy them because the sound quality was not good at all. No. 10 "Adagio" is the first release in the repertoire. It is a supremely beautiful performance that depicts Mahler as a pioneer with one foot in contemporary music rather than as eccentric music. Fielsen is located in North Rhine-Westphalia (northern part of the Rhine River), very close to the Netherlands.
