Klemperer V.S. Philadelphia 1962 Stereo Live! Heavy program "Rural" + "Hero" UHQCD 2CD set! The authorized series of Klemperer + Philadelphia releases in good stereo recordings. The all-Beethoven program, which is the most important of the series, had not been released due to difficulties in the orchestral archives. This year, a good source was finally found at the University of Pennsylvania. Now all three programs are available. Klemperer had been considered as Stokowski's successor, but the decision to replace him with Ormandy was made after the latter's departure in 1935, which was widely reported in the newspapers. The violins are on the left and right wings. The violins are on the left and right wings, with the low strings on the left side in a classical orchestral arrangement. Serious Beethoven played at an intensely slow tempo. The super-dead hall makes the contours of the music clear and there is no interruption of tension.
