Long-awaited reissue of the urban fusion masterpiece with impressive illustrations by Hideto Suzuki! The first album released by Katsumi Horii PROJECT in 1987 has been remastered and released on CD in 2023 under the supervision of Katsumi Horii, with additional bonus tracks available only at Tower Records! Composer, arranger, producer, and producer of many TV, animation, commercials, movies, and stage productions, including music for the "Doraemon" movie series (1999-2005), NHK Galaxy TV novels and NHK TV series (morning drama), and "Gegege no Kitaro" (5th TV animation series). This is the first album by Katsumi Horii, an arranger, producer, and professor at Tokyo College of Music, who has composed and produced music for TV, animation, commercials, movies, and stage productions, including the music for "Gegege Kitaro" (the fifth series of TV animation).The album features many top-notch musicians, including Hiroyuki Namba (key), Yoshihiro Naruse (b), Hirokuni Korekata (g), and other future members of the Beast Kingdom, Nobuo Kurata (key), Susumu Kazuhara (flh), Hidefumi Toki (sax), Masato Kawase (perc), etc. It strongly reflects the atmosphere of the late 1980s and uses synths, vocoders, and programming rhythms. The band's catchy urban fusion style is heavily influenced by the atmosphere of the late 1980s, and makes extensive use of synths, vocoders, and programming rhythms. Originally, this project started as a collaboration with illustrator Hideto Suzuki, and its visual instrumental hybrid sound is highly versatile, and was widely used as background music for TV, radio, and commercials at the time. The remix version of "ALONE, AT LAST" (Remix version) from the remix best album "The Way I Feel" (1989/RCA/air RECORDS/R32A-1062), which also features Minoru Mukoya (key), formerly of Cassiopeia, is included as an additional bonus track. Hirokuni Korekata(g), Nobuo Kurata(key), Susumu Kazuhara(flh), Hidefumi Toki(sax), Masato Kawase(perc), Ryo Moriyama(key), Keiichi Goto(synth prog, rhythm prog), Hideyuki Hayashi(synth prog), Yasushi Morimoto(synth prog )......etc.
