Quique Sinesi is one of the leading guitar players/composers in contemporary Argentina. This album, his first pure solo work in five years, is sure to become one of his best works. Inspired by the words of the poet Rilke, Kike Sineci has created 10 pieces of "Melodia Aerea - Solanoto" with the poetic image of "capturing melodies floating in the air," 4 improvised pieces "Melodia Fantasia" with different instruments, and a graceful piece "Celelelia" with Kike's unique style. The CD is available exclusively in Japan on the bar buenos aires label. Kike Sinesi is a maestro respected by many artists for his refined musicality, a hybrid of folklore, jazz, and classical music, and his creative performances backed by advanced technique. The cover of the album, which is connected to the 2018 album "Small Sound Things", is also impressive.Ten pieces vividly depict new creative imagery derived from "Letters to a Young Poet," a collection of letters by Rainer Maria Rilke, an Austrian poet from the early 20th century. Then there are four improvisations on acoustic guitar, fretless guitar, and the traditional instrument lonroko. The last piece is "Celeste," a solo guitar piece that expresses the blue sky seen from the small window of the apartment where he stayed during the pandemic. The fifteen pieces on this album show both his maturity as a performer who freely manipulates a wide variety of tones and sounds, as well as his richness as a composer who creates rich musical ideas from "melodies that drift and flow in the air.
