The band has released 10 original studio albums and a number of special releases so far, and has established itself as one of the top bands in Japan and abroad with each successive album release. The band has released 10 original studio albums and numerous CDs, and has finally completed their 11th album, Sonata Arctica, the flagship artist of MARQUEE AVALON. After a journey of two acoustic albums, they finally lift the veil on their latest album, "Clear Cold Beyond," which could only be reached by Sonata, whose musicality has expanded throughout their career. Cure for Everything," which is the fastest and must-have sing-along song on the album.It also includes the new anthem "Angel Defiled," which is a descendant of the classic song "Flag in the Ground," and the melancholy and sparkling closing number "The Best Things. After a long period of time, the band has finally completed a new album that combines melody and speed and returns to its roots. The artwork, reminiscent of the early days, features Nico Antilla. Mikko Carmilla, who worked on the early masterpieces "Ecliptica" and "Silence," returns to mixing. Tony Kakko said, "After a couple of unintentionally soft albums, I've felt for a while now that I needed to get heavier. Coming back to metal after the last album felt like a fresh start, and we had a lot of fun writing and recording the new songs. The songs are much faster and have a more speedy feel to them that everyone can and will want to sing along to.
