The 18th work in the "Spiral" series from Tokai University Takanawadai High School is the culmination of their positive attitude toward music, undeterred by the school closure and the cancellation of the competition due to the Corona Vortex. The Sinfonietta No. 4 "Memories" by Hirokazu Fukushima, which was originally scheduled to be performed at the competition, was named by the students with the idea of "imprinting the memories of this past year in our hearts. Together with "Beautiful Flowers, Shine Here and Now," which was commissioned at short notice, this piece became a symbol of the year 2020. The first-year ensemble's "Tanabata" features timpani by Mr. Hatakeda! The liner notes are in the form of interviews with guest teacher Toshiya Nakamura and other teachers.
