Set at a music school in Tbilisi, the capital of the former Soviet Union's Georgia (Georgia), the film depicts children struggling to learn and their principal overcoming managerial difficulties. Georgia is the center of the Caucasus, the "crossroads of culture and civilization," and has produced many gems in various fields. Musicians such as pianists Vilsalase and Leonskaya, conductor Kahidze, ballet dancer Ananiashvili, and more recently, young violinist Batiashvili and piano player Buniatishvili have become international stars. The stage is set at the Pariashvili Music School, where talented children study. During the Soviet era, the school provided protection for education and the arts, and although it was harsh, it allowed the children to develop their talents.While focusing on the themes of growth and aging, the film depicts the struggle of the principal to build a new building while discovering and nurturing geniuses, and the sincerity of the students, evoking quiet emotion and warm feelings.
