In addition to works by Fuchs, Bach, and Handel, who were generally active in the first half of the 18th century, the CD includes works by Froberger, who was active in the mid-17th century, and is performed on the piano. There are few CDs of Froberger's music performed on the piano, and those who enjoy baroque music played on the piano should pay attention to this CD. Kjeld Rubel is a pianist born in 1988 in Tallinn, Estonia, who studied with Matthias Kirschnerite at the Rostock University of Music and Drama in the northernmost part of Germany on the Baltic Sea from 2008 to 2016, and has been based in Germany since then.
