Black Sabbath, the absolute kings of Birmingham, England, have been taking the world by storm with their occult sound and influence that changed the face of the music scene. Their sound, which is more intense and heavier than "hard rock," is called "heavy metal," and has had a tremendous influence on all heavy music that continues to this day. They are the originators and founders of heavy metal.After Ozzy Osbourne's departure from the band in 1979, Black Sabbath welcomed Ronnie James Dio, an absolute frontman who was active with Elf and Rainbow at the time, as a new vocalist. Black Sabbath has produced a number of masterpieces since the arrival of Ronnie James Dio as a vocalist, and now BMG has decided to reissue the albums from Ronnie James Dio's period. This time, BMG will reissue two albums released after Ronnie James Dio joined the band: the 1980 album "Heaven and Hell," which is renowned as a historic masterpiece, and the 1981 masterpiece "Mob Rules," which was released the following year. HEAVEN AND HELL" was released in April 1980, and features the tracks "Neon Knights" and "Heaven and Hell" as well as the album's title track "Heaven and Hell" and "MOB RULES". The album is a masterpiece of metal, and has been acclaimed around the world as a return to form for Black Sabbath.This album reached #9 in the UK and #28 in the US, and was certified as a platinum disc. The 2-CD HEAVEN AND HELL reissue includes remastered 2021 recordings of songs from the original album, plus a variety of bonus tracks, including live recordings of songs like "Children Of The Sea" and "Die Young" from 1980 in Hartford, Connecticut. Various bonus tracks, including "Children Of The Sea" and "Die Young" live in Hartford, Connecticut in 1980, have been added to the album. Also included are rare live recordings of "E5150" and "Neon Knights," which were also included on the limited edition "BLACK SABBATH: LIVE AT HAMMERSMITH ODEON" released in 2007. Four live tracks from the Hammersmith Odeon show are included only on the CD (not on the 2-CD analog version).
